What is Noakesworthy?

Noakesworthy is a news website created by Canadian journalist Taylor C. Noakes.

As an independent journalist, Taylor often comes across stories that need to be told, but for whatever reason can’t find a home among the various publications he typically writes for. He got tired of news falling through the cracks, and created this website to address that problem.

Taylor’s first foray into journalism happened around age 18, when he published a news magazine while in college. It nearly got him expelled. It also endeared him to the students and faculty. He learned an important lesson early on: afflict the comfortable, and comfort the afflicted.

That was more than 20 years ago. As an established journalist who writes frequently for both Canadian and American publications, on a wide range of subjects, Taylor has a strong sense for what constitutes a good story, an interesting read, or something worthy of additional investigation.
